The Conejo Recreation and Park District is located in Thousand Oaks in beautiful Ventura County, approximately 40 miles west of downtown Los Angeles and 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean, nestled against the Santa Monica Mountains.

The Conejo Recreation and Park District was formed in 1963 by a vote of the community when folks moving into the Conejo Valley decided they wanted to create local parks and recreation programs for their growing families.

ConejoRPD's longstanding mission is "To enrich the quality of life for our community by preserving and enhancing recreational opportunities, parks and open space."

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, participates in the planning, design and implementation of mainten­ance and development projects for all District parks, recreational areas and facilities; provides responsible and technical staff assistance; and performs other related duties as assigned.
