Mr. Duarte serves as CARPD's Executive Director in addition to his role as Executive Director for the California Association for Park and Recreation Indemnity ("CAPRI").  He is a licensed California attorney and previously worked as a Partner at the law firm of Davis Wojcik Duarte, APLC. While in private practice, Mr. Duarte specialized in civil litigation including business disputes, real estate matters, and employment/labor claims.  

Prior to joining CAPRI, Mr. Duarte was active in his hometown community as a member of a local school board and President of the Board of Directors for Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District.  He is married with three children and enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and playing basketball.
