Southgate Recreation & Park District is seeking a talented professional to fill the role of their Communication and Media Officer. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a team committed to providing recreational and park services to residents of South Sacramento, a socially, economically, and culturally diverse community.

Under general direction from the General Manager, performs professional work in the development and direction of a variety of activities designed to meet the needs and interests of the community and performs professional marketing, publications, and community relations work. Duties include professional writing, market analysis, planning and promotion of activities, producing and distributing quality promotional materials, contract administration, program development and analysis, grant writing, and managing special projects. Attend public meetings and make written and oral presentations.
